Acceptable Use Policy

We believe everyone learns better when they feel safe and respected. This Acceptable Use Policy explains exactly how we protect that environment, what behavior is encouraged, what crosses the line, and how we handle issues if they arise. 

Its purpose is simple: to protect the learning environment, the integrity of our materials, and the people who participate. It is designed to encourage a safe, supportive learning environment and is built to support a positive experience for all.

1. Scope and Agreement

This AUP applies to anyone accessing Legal Creatives courses, certifications, live sessions, coaching, community spaces, content, templates, or related services (collectively, the "Services").

By using the Services, you agree to comply with:

  • this Acceptable Use Policy,

  • our Terms & Conditions, and

  • all applicable laws and professional obligations.

Violations may result in removal of content, restriction or termination of access, and other appropriate actions described below.


2. Key Definitions

  • User: anyone accessing Legal Creatives Services.

  • Member: a paid participant with course, certification, or community access.

  • Content: any material shared through the Services, including posts, comments, documents, images, videos or messages.


3. Lawful and Professional Use

You must use the Services lawfully, ethically, and in a professional manner.

You may not use Legal Creatives Services to:

  • engage in illegal, harmful, or deceptive conduct,

  • misrepresent your identity, credentials, or experience,

  • violate privacy, confidentiality, or intellectual property rights.


4. Your Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • providing accurate account information,

  • keeping your login credentials secure,

  • using the Services for your own learning and professional development,

  • ensuring that anything you post or share is lawful, appropriate, and respectful.

Account sharing or granting others access to paid materials is not permitted.


5. Prohibited Conduct

The following activities are not allowed.


5.1 Misuse of Educational Materials

You may not:

  • copy, resell, publicly share, or redistribute Legal Creatives content,

  • remove branding, copyright notices, or attribution,

  • use course materials to create competing programs or products.

Personal use for learning, and internal organizational use where expressly permitted, is allowed.


5.2 Misuse of Community Spaces

In community forums, live sessions, or group discussions, you may not:

  • spam, self-promote, or solicit clients or business,

  • post irrelevant or disruptive content,

  • impersonate others or misrepresent affiliation.

  • Uploading or sharing content you do not own or have rights to.


5.3 Harassment or Harmful Behavior

You may not:

  • harass, threaten, or demean others,

  • engage in discriminatory or abusive conduct,

  • promote violence, hate, or extremist views.


5.4 Fraudulent or Deceptive Activity

You may not engage in:

  • fraud or misrepresentation,

  • misleading commercial activity or false earnings claims.  


5.5 Security & Platform Misuse 

You may not use our Platform and Services in ways that harm, interfere with, or attempt to exploit our systems or other users. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Accessing accounts, content, or data that you do not have permission to use

  • Collecting, copying, or harvesting data, content, or user information through automated or manual means

  • Uploading or sharing viruses, malicious files, or harmful links

  • Disrupting the normal operation, performance, or security of our programs or community spaces

  • Attempting to bypass access limits, paywalls, or other safeguards, or to reverse-engineer our materials or systems

Any attempt to misuse the platform or undermine its integrity may result in immediate removal of access and other enforcement actions.


6. Privacy, Confidentiality & Sensitive Information 

You must respect the confidentiality and privacy of others.

Do not upload or share:

  • confidential client information,

  • sensitive personal data without consent,

  • payment card data or regulated health information.

Legal Creatives Services are not designed for storing regulated financial or health data.


7. Intellectual Property

All Legal Creatives materials — including videos, templates, frameworks, and course content — are protected by intellectual property laws.

Where expressly permitted, Members receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use templates internally within their own organization, subject to confidentiality and attribution requirements.

Any use beyond the permitted scope (including resale or public distribution) is prohibited.


8. Community Standards

Legal Creatives is a global professional learning community. Participants are expected to:

  • engage respectfully and constructively,

  • contribute in good faith,

  • respect diverse perspectives and professional backgrounds.

Harassment, discrimination, or unethical behavior will not be tolerated.


9. Enforcement

If this AUP is violated, Legal Creatives may, depending on severity:

  • issue warnings,

  • remove content,

  • restrict or suspend access,

  • permanently terminate participation.

Serious or repeated violations may result in immediate removal from programs or communities.

11. Updates

We may update this Acceptable Use Policy from time to time. The most current version will always apply to ongoing use of the Services.
