Scope of Service
The Visual Upgrade Lab is a digital design and information architecture service. We provide the visual layer for your existing legal documents β transforming dense, hard-to-read text into clear, navigable, visually structured HTML/CSS assets.

The Visual Upgrade Lab is a design service only. Legal Creatives does not review, vet, or take responsibility for the legal accuracy or compliance of your text. All legal content must be approved by your own qualified attorney before submission.
Customer Requirements (The "Input")
To maintain our 72-hour delivery standard, you must provide the following before the delivery clock starts:
π Final vetted text
- You must provide the final, lawyer-approved text in Word (.docx) or Google Doc format.
- Once submitted, the text is considered "locked."
- Any changes to the text after submission may incur additional fees and will reset the 72-hour delivery clock.
π¨ Branding guidelines
- You must provide your brand's HEX color codes and font preferences (or access to Adobe Fonts / Google Fonts).
- If no branding guidelines are provided, the Lab will apply our "Atelier Standard" palette (Professional Modern).
The Visual Upgrade Lab is a design-first service. Do not submit your text until it has been reviewed and approved by your attorney. Post-submission text changes may delay delivery and incur additional fees.
The 72-Hour Delivery Protocol
The 72-hour clock does not start at the moment of purchase. It starts only when all three of the following conditions are met:
The 72-hour window applies to business days (MondayβFriday). Submissions received on Friday afternoon will be delivered by Wednesday.
If the materials provided are incomplete or branding assets are non-functional, the 72-hour clock is paused until the issue is resolved. We will notify you promptly if this occurs.
Intellectual Property & License
License restrictions
- The license is restricted to the specific website domain(s) identified by you in the Intake Form.
- Use of the proprietary visual framework on additional domains, or for different corporate entities not identified at the time of intake, requires the purchase of additional licenses.
- You may not resell or redistribute the visual framework as a standalone product.
If you need to deploy the delivered asset on additional domains or for a different entity, please contact us at [email protected] to purchase additional licenses before deployment.
Technical Compatibility
We deliver clean, lightweight HTML/CSS designed to be pasted directly into your website builder or CMS.

π Custom & Other Platforms: If you use a custom-coded site or a platform not listed above, we deliver your upgrade as a Standard HTML/CSS Asset. As long as your builder allows for Custom Code or HTML Blocks, our framework will function as intended.
Every delivery includes an Implementation Guide to assist your technical team with the copy-paste process for your specific platform.
While we ensure compatibility with major builders, the Customer is responsible for the final implementation into their specific environment. Legal Creatives is not responsible for site-wide CSS conflicts or third-party plugin interference within the Customer's specific hosting environment.
Final Sale & Refinements

Due to the custom, high-velocity nature of this digital service, all sales are final. Once work has commenced following your completed submission, no refunds will be issued.
π¨ Refinements β what's included
Each Visual Upgrade Lab purchase includes one (1) round of minor visual refinements after delivery.
- Color adjustments
- Font size or weight changes
- Minor spacing or layout tweaks
The included refinement round does not cover rewriting or editing your legal text, or changing the architectural framework (navigation structure, layout system, section hierarchy) once delivered. Additional rounds of refinements may be available for purchase separately.
