Legal Creatives - Legal Hub

Accessibility Policy

Last Updated: December 9th, 2025

At Legal Creatives, we are committed to providing a digital experience that is inclusive, intuitive, and accessible to all learners—regardless of ability, device, or context. Our goal is to ensure every individual can fully engage with our programs, content, and services.

We are committed to providing an environment where all individuals—including those with disabilities—can access our content, navigate our platform, and participate fully in our programs.

This Accessibility Policy outlines our commitment, the standards we follow, and the steps we take to ensure accessibility across both our website and course materials.

Ps. We are in the process of legally designing ours! Need help drafting a policy like this for your own platform? We’d be happy to assist.

1. Our Commitment

At Legal Creatives, our mission is to make legal information clearer, more usable, and more accessible. This extends to the way we design our website and deliver our online learning experience.

 We are dedicated to:

  • Provides full and equal access to our website, course content, and digital services.

  • Ensures an experience that respects the dignity, independence, and inclusion of every user.

  • Meets the requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), relevant state laws, the European Accessibility Act (EAA), and global best-practice standards.

  • Continuously improving our site and content to reflect evolving accessibility expectations and technologies.

2. Standards We Follow

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines are internationally recognized standards for making digital content accessible and usable.

Our efforts include:

  • Ensuring content is perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust

  • Supporting keyboard navigation

  • Providing alternative text for meaningful images

  • Maintaining strong color contrast

  • Structuring content with clear headings and logical hierarchy

  • Providing captions or transcripts for videos

3. Accessibility on the Website & Course Platform

Our website and course environment are hosted on Kajabi, which is designed with WCAG 2.1 AA in mind.

Kajabi is responsible for the accessibility of the platform infrastructure, including:

  • Core website code

  • Theme architecture

  • Login and checkout flows

  • Keyboard navigation for platform features

  • Built-in accessibility features and updates

For more information on Kajabi’s accessibility posture, please refer to Kajabi’s public documentation.

4. Our Responsibility: Content We Create

While Kajabi provides the platform, we are responsible for the accessibility of the content we produce, including:

  • Website pages

  • Course lessons

  • Templates and downloadable files

  • Workbooks and tools

  • Images, diagrams, and visuals

  • Training videos

  • Community updates and member resources

We design our content intentionally using the same clarity, structure, and UX principles we teach in our Contract and Legal Design curriculum. This means our content is created to be:

  • Clear

  • Structured

  • Well-organized

  • Cognitively accessible

  • Screen-reader friendly

  • Visually usable

In practice, we conduct accessibility checks to ensure:

  • Descriptive alt text is applied to all key images and diagrams

  • Videos include captions or transcripts

  • PDFs or downloadable files use accessible formatting

  • Headings follow a logical hierarchy

  • Text is readable with strong contrast

  • Interactive elements are labeled clearly

5. Continuous Improvement

Accessibility is an ongoing, iterative effort. We regularly:

  • Regular audits of our site experience and course materials

  • Improve site structure and navigation

  • Clearer structure, language, and visual design

  • Train our team on accessibility best practices

  • Ongoing updates as standards evolve and technology advances

  • Update this policy as standards evolve

As we release new modules, templates, and resources, we apply the same accessible design principles.

6. Known Limitations - Use of Third-Party Tools

Some areas of our website may include:

  • Third-party content

  • Integrations

  • External links

We cannot guarantee the accessibility of third-party components, as they are outside our operational control. However, we make reasonable efforts to select vendors that align with accessibility best practices.

7. Requesting Assistance or Reporting an Issue

We want every user to have a smooth, accessible experience. If you encounter a barrier, have difficulty accessing content, or need an alternative format, please contact us so we can assist.

📩 Email: [email protected]

Please include:

  • The page or resource you were trying to access

  • The nature of the issue

  • The device or assistive technology you are using (optional but helpful)

We will make reasonable efforts to respond promptly and resolve accessibility issues as quickly as possible.

8. Alternative Access Options

Upon request, we can provide:

  • Alternative formats

  • Written transcripts for videos

  • Descriptions of visual materials

  • Additional explanations of course materials

  • Guidance for navigating the website or course platform

  • Reasonable accommodations aligned with your learning needs

Our goal is to ensure you have full and equal enjoyment of the program

9. Ongoing Review

We review this Accessibility Policy at least annually, and after any major website or curriculum updates, to ensure it reflects our current practices, improvements, and legal obligations.
